The aim of this business is to create a central portal and single point of contact for all anglers and fishing retailers to use, which combines a simple to use marketplace where both new and used fishing tackle can be bought and sold, and a centralised database of companies offering day tickets and fishing holidays.
The main purpose of the site is to reduce the need for both fishing tackle and venue providers, and their customers to have to use multiple websites, social media platforms and advertising platforms to reach one another by providing a “one stop shop” for all their joint requirements.
Anglers will be able to plan and supply all aspects of any fishing trip, from bait and equipment requirements and selecting the perfect venue for their trip based on customer reviews, through to venue tickets and boat hire and sales.
Retailers using the site will have free access to a rapidly growing marketplace and its customer base to sell their goods and advertise their products, which is solely aimed at the angling world, and is free to use up to the point of sale, with fees added at checkout meaning that they only pay fees on items sold through the site.
We will also be a point of reference for anglers to use for information on listed locations and sellers with regards to pricing, accessibility, available resources, user experience, and customer satisfaction with both sellers and customers able to input information on a specific seller or location.
Retailers will benefit from a free source of advertising, boosted sales figures, and a risk free payment portal for online orders. Shop inventory can be downloaded onto the system via CSV file, filling out listings automatically and categorizing them. Ad spaces will be available to rent for those wishing to expand their business reach even further.
